Pakistan Resolution Day, also known as Lahore resolution, which is passed on 23^rd March 1940. Pakistan resolution was a foundation for the creation of independent state of Pakistan. It also signifies the struggles that Muslims made for the creation of a separate Muslim State.

In Islamabad, the main celebration takes place every year, this celebration is attended by President of Pakistan who becomes the chief guest.  With him Prime Minister, Military Staffs, and other members also join the celebration.
