On 7 May 2024, it was between 1:05 am – 1:30 am that India attacked on Pakistan via an operation called Sindoor. This attack was in response to the Pahalgham Attack which took place on 22 April 2025. India exercised the missile attacks on the province of Punjab and Pakistan-Administered Kashmir.
The target areas were Masjid Sobhanullah in Bahawalpur, Muzafarabad, and Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 9 Indian Attacks have been reported in different locations. This Indian attack killed about 26 civilians and more than 45 are injured. India said that these attacks were targeting the terror training sites, but it targeted innocent civilians including children, women, and senior citizens.
In Bahalwalpur, the Indian attack targeted a mosque, due to which a child lost his life, and two other people are injured.
The Hindu news has confirmed that Pakistani Military has successfully shot down three Aircrafts of India in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, but latter on they deleted the post.
According to India this was retaliatory attack in response to the Pahalgham Attack and give justice to the victims and their families. It is a military action in which “India attack” target those sites where terrorist activities are being exercised, these sites are in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
What Indian Military say about India Attack?
In this India Attack they launched different missile attacks on 9 sites.
According to Indian Army they Targeted a camp called Sawai Nala near Muzafarabad, this is a camp of Lashker e Tayyiba, and 30 kilometers away from the Line of Control of the POJK. They also said that the previous attacks including the Pahalagam Attack were executed through the orders taken from these camps.
They said that these attacks were carried out by being in the Airspace of Pakistan, but Pakistan denies the point.
Another base camp of the Lashker e Tayyiba was Gulpur Camp Kotli, which is 30 kilometers away from Line of Control (LoC). Previous attacks in 2023 and 2024 were executed by the terrorists who were trained in this camp.
Barnala Camp Bhimber, which is 9 kilometers away from LoC, was camp where terrorists were managing and organizing their weapons.
Abbas camp Kotli which is 13 kilometers away from LoC where the Fidayeen of Lashker e Tayibba was being set up.
Markaz Subhanallah Bahawalpur, which is 100 kilometers away from international border. This was a site of operation and training.
According to them the India Attack has targeted the terrorist who were residing in the terrorist camps, and they did not harm any civilian in this India Attack.
What Pakistan say about India Attack?
In a press conference, the ISPR said that after some time when India Attack on Pakistan, Pakistani Military took bold action and fought back bravely.
So far, Pakistani Military has shot down 5 Aircrafts and 2 drones of India. The aircrafts include three Rafale, one MiG 29, one SU and many quadcopters. These were shot down when India Attack on the civilians of Pakistan and breached the soveingrinity of the nations.
It was also noted that neither the Indian Aircrafts were allowed to enter Pakistan’s Airspace nor Pakistan entered the Airspace of India. Moreover, none of the Pakistani Aircrafts have been damaged and everything is under control.
Near the Line of Control (LoC) Pakistan Army successfully launched missile strike and destroyed an Indian post called Bidaniyal. Indian militaries are continuously attacking on various Pakistani Military areas, but Pak Army has shown a strong and firm opposition towards their attacks.
India Attack – 10 family members killed
The family members of Maulana Masood Azhar have been killed by the India Attack. Maulana Masood Azhar was a UN designated terrorist, who is head of the terrorist group called Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
The decease of this family includes his sister, five children, husband of his sister, his niece and nephew. Moreover, his close friends also lost their lives.
This specific group has also a track record of exercising a terrorist attack in Indian Administered Kashmir on February 2019, in which it killed around 40 troops.
Indian Attack – Then White Flag
The white flag is a symbol of surrender. If any party raises white flag at their border, then it means that they have surrendered.
Pakistan has said that the Indian military has raised white flag at the border which means they have surrendered.
What’s Next?
Pakistan: The DG ISPR said that we will respond to the attack.
If we look back to the 2019 attack of India in KPK, to which Pakistan responded with an attack in the region of Rachodi of India. This shows that Pakistan will respond and choose the place and timing for a counter strike.
Both sides have the capacity that they can lock the military headquarters of the either place. Pakistan has the capacity and will respond to any action that Indian army will take.
